Results Green Logistics conference, Munich

On 17th of June high level speakers and logistics experts discussed in Munich at the expert conference 2green logistics / Hype or a must?” under moderation of the magazine “Logistik heute” about the significance of green logistics offers in transportation service and intralogistics today and in the future.

Many companies today are creating marketing effects with green logistics solutions. But the view on the economical value of these offers is divided in two main groups. Research studies e.g. of the BME (association of material management, procurement and logistics) result in defining companies as the winner of the economical crisis which offers green services. On the other hand the Supply Chain Management Institute released a research study with the result that procurement managers are not willing to pay for these green effects of products and services.
